Charoset for the seder plate. Its a paste I tend to enjoy for many days after the seder. Here's a simple recipe drawing from a Yemenite recipe: 1 cup dates, chopped into small pieces 1/4 cup dried figs, chopped into small pieces 1/4 cup walnuts, crushed into small pieces 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon of orange rind, chopped 1/4 cup red wine or kiddish grape juice. Mix everything together until you get a chunky paste or mash to your desired consistency. Add more liquid if necessary. That's it!
